Coller Circle is an international Agri-FoodTech VIP investors event.

WHAT

Coller Inner Circle is an exclusive international investors' event, with at least eight well-known prestigious investment firms that already confirmed their participation, among them are CPT Capital, Emerald, Unovis, Synthesis Capital, Agfunder, Happiness Capital, Clay Capital, BitsXBites, Good Seed Vetures, Straydog Capital, FoodLabs, Manta Ray, Barrel Ventures, Good Startup, YYM Ventures, and Siddhi Capital (browse our partners).

It's a unique funding opportunity for Seed to A round FoodTech and AgTech startups.

In this 'demo-day' like event, selected startups will have the opportunity to present their businesses, make connections, and network, which will hopefully lead to achieving your funding goals.

HOW

CRITERIA

FoodTech and AgTech-oriented startups SEED to round A stage.
Burn Rate is less than $250k per month.
Last major funding round was not within the last 3 months.
Alt/ new proteins, precision fermentation, enabling technologies, functional ingredients, AI based solutions, precision Agriculture, Crop protection/ bio based solutions , robotics etc.

* IMPORTANT: The initiative scope DOES NOT cover ventures which aide or facilitate crop for animal feed, probiotic treatments that replace antibiotics for farm animals, tracking and monitoring systems for farm animals.

THE PROCESS

You will be required to submit a digital application form with questions about your venture and team plus a One-pager, Investors deck, up to 25 slides (P&L is optional).
* This information will be open to the investors participating in this event.
According to the criteria mentioned, a quick 1:1 interview will be scheduled.
Approval of participation in our boutique digital investors event is based on the assessment process between the investors requests and the startups applications.

Timeline

Application deadline: November 16th, 2023
1:1 talk with relevant candidates: Novemeber 19th-23rd.
Announcment of participation: November 26th.
The event will be held on November 30th (time TBD).

The Coller-Circle, which was organized and held virtually by the Coller Institute of Venture in the School of Management at Tel Aviv University, included 17 venture capital funds from the international arena, who understanf the value and benefits of cooperation with the Israeli Agri-Food ecosystem.
